Industry Representatives Recognized at the Nadcap Meeting

At the recent Nadcap meeting in London, UK, the following appreciation awards were presented:

  • For presenting at the 2015/2016 Nadcap Supplier Symposia:
    • Jim Dodge – Selfridge Plating
    • Ed Englehard – Solar Atmospheres
    • Stephane Chaumeil – Galion
    • Iain Mackenzie – Bodycote
    • Jim Cummings – Metal Finishing Company
    • Jonathan Hebben – Avcorp Composite Fabrication
  • For service on NonDestructive Testing Task Group – Peter Torelli, The Boeing Company
  • For leading the sub-team in development of the Additive Manufacturing Checklist – Richard Freeman, TWI Ltd
  • For service on the Elastomer Seals & Sealants Task Groups – Estrella Watson, UTC Aerospace (Goodrich)
  • For service as Nadcap Management Council representative:
    • Angela Vitale, Finmeccanica SpA – Aeronautics Sector
    • Masahiro Kawamoto, Mitsubishi Heavy Industries
  • For service on the Composites, Non Metallic Materials Manufacturing, Non Metallic Materials Testing Task Group – Keith Panuska, Lockheed Martin Corp.

In addition, the following Chairperson Award was presented:

In keeping with the original spirit and purpose of the Nadcap program, all Nadcap meetings and related activities are conducted for the benefit of the aerospace industry as a whole. There are many advantages to participating in a Nadcap meeting, such as:

  • Learning about and participating in Task Group activities such as checklist development
  • Attending Nadcap Management Council (NMC) and Supplier Support Committee (SSC) meetings to learn about current activities in the Nadcap community and sub-team initiatives
  • Networking with other delegates including aerospace Prime contractors, Suppliers and PRI staff
  • Benefiting from free eQuaLearn training such as Root Cause Corrective Action, How to Prepare for a Nadcap Audit and Introduction to Pyrometry
